- Comprises correspondence between the engineer to the Humber Conservancy Board, the Secretary of the Board, Bergius Co. Ltd. Glasgow, and prospective buyers of the Board’s M.L. Hikibydo, which had become redundant and was being offered for sale by the Board. The Board originally purchased the vessel in 1918, repairs were carried out to the engine (including descaling), before the vessel’s sale. Includes a list showing annual maintenance costs of the vessel from 1918 to 1937. It appears that the vessel’s duties had become far more onerous than what was originally expected of it.
