 - Comprises of correspondence between the Chief Engineer to the Humber Conservancy Board, and a variety of companies and organisations, regarding sundry obstructions within the River Humber System. These include: the sinking of the tug “Tollman” in Alexandra Dock, Hull, various large tree trunks floating in the River Humber, loss of a crane cart and staging at Immingham dock entrance, drifting beacons, a lost speedboat from the yacht Flying Scotsman, various vessels at anchor in the River and then collecting wreckage when they weigh anchor, blocked outfalls and marker buoys, etc. Also includes a report regarding an overturned dinghy in the river near the middle Whitton lightship, including 2 statements to the Police.
