- Comprises correspondence between the Chief Engineer to the Humber Conservancy Board, the Port Master, LNER, Grimsby Docks, The Office of Flag Officer-In-Charge, Immingham, and the Humber Pilot’s Office, Hull, regarding restricted emergency lighting within the River Humber System, lighting at dock entrances, as well all sailings within the whole of the River Humber System (including the Rivers Trent and Ouse), including the Humber ferry service sailings during the black-out in Second World War. This also included lighting by the various lighthouses within the River Humber System.
