- Comprises correspondence between the Chief Engineer to the Humber Conservancy Board, the Humber Pilot’s Office, Hull, the Grimsby Steam Fishing Vessels Mutual Insurance and Protection Co. Ltd, and the Trent Motor Traction Co. Ltd., Derby, regarding the rules and regulations to be observed by vessels sailing within the River Humber System. Steam trawlers appear to regularly ignore these rules. Includes correspondence regarding future sailings of hovercrafts and hydrofoils on a commercial basis, correspondence regarding vessels mooring in prohibited anchorages, vessel traffic problems in the River Trent (including the prosecution of the vessel Burtondale H, and correspondence regarding a proposed inspection of the local lights within the River Humber System, by the Trinity House vessel Patricia.
