Atkin RNR (Marine Superintendent for the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway Company at Goole). The topics covered include: the delivery of charts of sections of the Upper Humber between Hull and Goole, information regarding the depth of water in the River Trent up to Keadby, the position of lightships and gas floats, and correspondence discussing Mr Barley (Superintendent of the Upper Humber) and his methods of working.
