Description:

A chart showing the Humber in the vicinity of Grimsby Docks for the purpose of illustrating the directions of the signals—as displayed on the Humber Conservancy's Wreck Marking Vessel "Pioneer"—marking the wreck of the "Manorbier Castle". The position of the wreck is marked, as is the position of the Middle Lightship, No. 3 Gas Float, and No. 4 Gas Float.

Produced in connection with a claim for damages brought against the Humber Conservancy Board and others by the owners of the S.S. "Tinto", which sank in the Humber subsequent to striking the wreck of the trawler "Manorbier Castle" on 5 February 1920.
