A package (divided into 3 folders) containing papers accumulated in connection with Aire and Calder Navigation Lease No. 14: Land on the southern side of Barge Dock in the town of Goole, Yorkshire. It includes the following:

Deeds (1832–1878)

1. Lease for 99 years (6 August 1832): The Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation to James Bromley. It includes an inset plan showing the property in question. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the following representatives of the Navigation: Sir John Lowther, Sir William Mordaunt Milner, Richard Fountayne Wilson, and John Spencer Stanhope.

2. Counterpart of Lease for 99 years (6 August 1832): The Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation to James Bromley. It includes an inset plan showing the property in question. It has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned Leasee.

3. Mortgage of Leasehold (31 December 1832) for securing £800: James Bromley (with the consent of the Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation) to Henry Stephen Belcombe and others. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned parties, George Champney, John Elston, and the following representatives of the Navigation: Sir John Lowther, Sir William Mordaunt Milner, Richard Fountayne Wilson, and John Spencer Stanhope.

4. Assignment of Leasehold (13 October 1835): James Bromley and others (with the consent of the Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation) to Robert Bromley. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned James Bromley, and the following representatives of the Navigation: Sir John Lowther, Sir William Mordaunt Milner, Richard Fountayne Wilson, and John Spencer Stanhope.

5. Transfer of £600 on Mortgage of Leasehold (26 August 1842): Messrs Belcombe and Champney to Ann Dawson. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned parties.

6. Re-assignment of Leasehold (16 December 1846): Henry Stephen Belcombe and others (with the consent of the Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation) to Robert Bromley. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned Mr Belcombe, George Champney, John Fewster Dawson, Thomas Brooks, Robert Bromley, and the following representatives of the Navigation: Sir William Mordaunt Milner, John Spencer Stanhope, and William Mordaunt Edward Milner.

7. Assignment of Leasehold (24 December 1872): Robert Bromley (with the consent of the Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation) to George Waite. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned parties, and Marmaduke Storr Hodson on behalf of the Navigation.

8. Mortgage by Demise of Leasehold (26 December 1872): George Waite (with the consent of the Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation) to William Jackson. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned parties, and Marmaduke Storr Hodson on behalf of the Navigation.

Re-assignment of Leasehold (21 July 1875): William Jackson (with the consent of the Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation) to George Waite. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned parties, and Marmaduke Storr Hodson on behalf of the Navigation.

9. Mortgage by Demise of Leasehold (22 July 1875): George Waite (with the consent of the Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation) to the Halifax Permanent Benefit Building Society. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned parties, and Marmaduke Storr Hodson on behalf of the Navigation.

10. Surrender of Leasehold (13 November 1878): George Waite to Andrew Montagu and others (Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation). The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned Leasee and Francis Darwin on behalf of the Navigation.
