A package (divided into 3 folders) containing papers accumulated in connection with Aire and Calder Navigation Lease No. 19: 27–29 North Street and 11–13 Cross Street—Good Samaritan Lodge of Odd Fellows and cottages. It includes the following:

Deeds (1834–1883)

1. Lease for 99 years (4 August 1834): The Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation to John Clark and others. It includes an inset map showing the grounds in question. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned Leasee, and the following representatives of the Navigation: Sir John Lowther, Richard Fountayne, Sir William Mordaunt Milner, and John Spencer Stanhope.

2. Counterpart of a Lease for 99 years (4 August 1834): The Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation to John Clark and others. It includes an inset map showing the grounds in question. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned Leasee, John Clark, Thomas Sheffield, George Norton, and Robert Harrison.

3. Mortgage of Leasehold (26 February 1835) for securing £300: Messrs Clark, Sheffield and Harrison to Charles Bentley (in trust for George Pearson and Hannah Bentley). The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned parties (except Charles Bentley) and George Norton.

4. Transfer of Mortgage and Further Charge of Leasehold (5 June 1847) for £600: between Sarah Pearson and others; William Eden Cass and others; to Messrs Price and Meek. The Deed has been signed and sealed by Sarah Pearson, Hannah Bentley, Charles Bentley, William Eden Case, Charles Leggott, William Charlton, Thomas Price, and James Meek.

5. Assignment of Leasehold (10 January 1848): Messrs Clark, Sheffield, Norton, and Harrison (with the consent of the Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation) to Messrs Price and Meek. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned parties, and the following representatives of the Navigation: Sir William Mordaunt Milner, John Spencer Stanhope, William Mordaunt Edward Milner, and John George Smyth.

6. Assignment of Leasehold (12 July 1850): John Clark and others (with the consent of the Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation) to John Dearman. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned parties, Thomas Sheffield, George Norton, Robert Harrison, William Eden Case, Charles Leggott, William Charlton, Thomas Price, James Meek, and Joseph Priestley on behalf of the Navigation.

7. Surrender of Leasehold (4 May 1883): Samuel Dearman to Andrew Montagu and others (Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation).
