A package (divided into 3 folders) containing papers accumulated in connection with Aire and Calder Navigation Lease No. 29: property situate on the northern side of the Dutch River in the town of Goole, Yorkshire. It includes the following:

Deeds (1838–1887)
1. Lease for 99 years (6 August 1838): the Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation to Edward Clark. It includes an inset map showing the land and property in question. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned Leasee, and the following representatives of the Navigation: Sir William Mordaunt Milner, Richard Fountayne Wilson, John Spencer Stanhope, and Sir John Lowther.
2. Counterpart of Lease for 99 years (6 August 1838): the Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation to Edward Clark. It includes an inset map showing the land and property in question. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned Leasee.
3. Mortgage of Leasehold (24 November 1838) for securing £350: Edward Clark (with the consent of the Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation) to Ann Hewitt and Eliza Hewitt. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned parties, and the following representatives of the Navigation: Sir William Mordaunt Milner, Richard Fountayne Wilson, John Spencer Stanhope, and Sir John Lowther.
4. Transfer of Mortgage of Leasehold (7 July 1842) for securing £350 and further charge of £200: Edward Clark and others (with the consent of the Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation) to Harriet Ogle. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned parties, Ann Hewitt, Eliza Hewitt, and the following representatives of the Navigation: Sir William Mordaunt Milner, Richard Fountayne Wilson, and John Spencer Stanhope.

5. Transfer of Mortgage of Leasehold (8 October 1847) for securing £620: Harriet Ogle and Eliza Clark (with the consent of the Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation) to Isaac Johnson. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned parties, and Joseph Priestley on behalf of the Navigation.
6. Assignment of Leasehold (11 September 1850): George and Eliza Whay their Mortgagee and others (with the consent of the Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation) to Robert Best. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned parties, Isaac Johnson, and Joseph Priestley on behalf of the Navigation.
7. Mortgage by demise of Leasehold (6 June 1877): Susannah Best (with the consent of the Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation) to William Dales. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned parties, and Marmaduke Storr Hodson on behalf of the Navigation.

8. Assignment of Leasehold (17 March 1880) consideration of £1000: Susannah Best and Mortgagee (with the consent of the Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation) to William Joseph Hodson. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned parties, William Dales, and Marmaduke Storr Hodson on behalf of the Navigation.
9. Mortgage of Leasehold (18 March 1880): William Joseph Hodson (with the consent of the Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation) to the Rochdale Permanent Benefit Building Society. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned Leasee, and Marmaduke Storr Hodson on behalf of the Navigation.
10. Surrender of Leasehold (4 July 1887): William Joseph Hodson to Andrew Montagu and others (Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation). The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned Leasee, and Francis Darwin on behalf of the Navigation.
