A package (divided into 2 folders) containing papers accumulated in connection with Aire and Calder Navigation Lease No. 3: the Blue Pig Inn and other property situate in George Street and Cross Street in the town of Goole, Yorkshire. It includes the following:

Deeds (1828–1875)

1. Counterpart of Lease for 99 years (1 December 1828): from Sir John Lowther, Baronet, and others (Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation) to Thomas Thompson. It includes an inset map showing the property in question. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the leasee.

2. Assignment of Leasehold for securing £200 interest (2 March 1829): from Thomas Thompson (with the consent of the Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation) to John Sheldon. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned parties, and William Milthorp Maude representing the Aire and Calder Navigation.

3. Assignment of Leasehold (3 September 1831): from the Assignees and Mortgage of Thomas Thompson and others (Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation) to Joseph Cox. The Deed has been signed and sealed by John Sheldon (Machon Bank), William Milthrop Maude, Bernard John Wake, William Blagden, and Jessee Rutherford.

4. Assignment of Leasehold (4 September 1850): from Joseph Cox (with the consent of the Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation) to Joseph Spilman. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned parties, and Joseph Priestley representing the Aire and Calder Navigation.

5. Assignment of Leasehold, Dwellinghouses, and Hereditaments (27 April 1874): from Daniel Spilman (with the consent of the Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation) to Thomas Spilman. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned parties, and Marmaduke Storr Hodson representing the Aire and Calder Navigation.

6. Surrender of Leasehold (30 December 1875): from Thomas Spilman to Andrew Montagu and others (Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation. It has been signed and sealed by Thomas Spilman, and representatives of the Aire and Calder Navigation: William Aldam, Walter Thomas William Spencer Stanhope, George Lane Fox,
