A package (divided into 2 folders) containing papers accumulated in connection with Aire and Calder Navigation Lease No. 41: Nos. 3, 5, and 7 Fletcher Street and No. 17 North Street in the town of Goole, Yorkshire. It includes the following:

Deeds (1840–1888)

1. Lease for 99 years (20 August 1840): the Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation to Samuel Howith. It includes an inset plan showing the land in question. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned Leasee, and the following representatives of the Navigation: Sir William Mordaunt Milner, John Spencer Stanhope, Richard Fountayne Wilson, and Sir John Lowther.

2. Counterpart of Lease for 99 years (20 August 1840): the Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation to Samuel Howith. It includes an inset plan showing the land in question. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned Leasee.

3. Assignment of Leasehold (27 December 1883): Messrs Benjamin Hewitt and Thomas Huntington (with the consent of the Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation) to George Firth. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned parties, and Marmaduke Storr Hodson on behalf of the Navigation.

4. Surrender of Leasehold (10 August 1888): George Firth to Andrew Montagu and others (Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation). The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned Leasee, Francis Isles, and Francis Darwin on behalf of the Navigation.
