A package (divided into 12 folders) containing papers accumulated in connection with Aire and Calder Navigation Lease No. 56: the Theatre Royal situate in Adam Street in the town of Goole, Yorkshire. It includes the following:

Documents (1882–1928):
1. Lease for 99 years (1 September 1845): the Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation to Francis Lister, William Eden Cass, and Joseph Fletcher. It includes an inset plan showing the land and property in question. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned parties.
2. Memorial of Assignment of Leasehold (2 November 1882): Rosa Rockett to the Reverend William Garnew and others.
3. Consent to Underlease (31 May 1878): John Humble Rockett to Henry Trevor Gardiner.
4. Consent to Underlease (8 August 1883): the Reverend William Garner, Thomas Wilson, George Drury, William Lazenby, and Richard Booth to Charles Bromley.
5. Consent to Underlease (27 November 1905): the Executors of the late Charles Bromley to James William Bentley.
6. Consent to Underlease (21 November 1928): Ferdinand Hartmann Ellicott, Fred Taylor, Randal Hopley, and Albert Ward Drury to Harry Kendell.
