Two packages containing papers surrendered to the Aire and Calder Navigation on 31 December 1894 by the Trustees of the United Methodist Free Church. The papers are connected with Leasehold premises (Nos. 108 and 126) situate in Bridge Street in the town of Goole, Yorkshire. The package includes the following:

2. Notes regarding Aire and Calder Navigation Bill by William Hammond Bartholomew (16 March 1888).

3. Valuation by Hepper and Son of Chapel and three cottages in Bridge Street, Goole—includes attached plan showing Leasehold (26 April 1894).

4. Draft Agreement for the Sale of the United Methodist Free Church at Goole (22 December 1894).

1. Lease No. 108 for 99 years (5 March 1856): the Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation to Charles Leggitt. It includes an inset plan showing the land and property in question. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned Leasee, and the following representatives of the Navigation: John Spencer Stanhope, William Mordaunt Edward Milner, John George Smyth, and Andrew Montagu.

2. Counterpart of Lease No. 108 for 99 years (5 March 1856): the Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation to Charles Leggitt. It includes an inset plan showing the land and property in question. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned Leasee.

3. Assignment of Leasehold No. 108 (2 September 1856): Charles Leggitt (with the consent of the Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation) to Messrs Porter and others and their Mortgagees. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned parties, John Edward Porter, John Holmes, William Cass, and Marmaduke Storr Hodson on behalf of the Navigation.

4. Reassignment of Leasehold No. 108 (22 July 1864): Messrs John George Weddall and George Dunn (with the consent of the Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation) to Messrs John Edward Porter, William Cass, and John Holmes. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned parties, and Marmaduke Storr Hodson on behalf of the Navigation.

5. Lease No. 126 for 99 years (15 August 1864): the Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation to Messrs John Edward Porter, William Cass, and John Holmes. It includes an inset plan showing the land and property in question. The Deed has been signed and sealed by John Edward Porter and the following representatives of the Navigation: John Spencer Stanhope, John George Smyth, Andrew Montagu, and William Aldam on behalf of the Navigation.

6. Counterpart of Lease No. 126 for 99 years (15 August 1864): the Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation to Messrs John Edward Porter, William Cass, and John Holmes. It includes an inset plan showing the land and property in question. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned Leasees.

7. Mortgage of Leasehold (25 January 1865) for securing £1200: the Trustees of the United Methodist Free Church at Goole (with the consent of the Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation) to Edward Herring. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned Edward Herring, the individual Trustees of the United Methodist Free Church, and Marmaduke Storr Hodson on behalf of the Navigation.

8. Assignment of Leaseholds Nos. 108 and 126 (26 February 1873): James Beachell and others (with the consent of the Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation) to James Beachell and others. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned parties, and Marmaduke Storr Hodson on behalf of the Navigation.

9. Reassignment of Leasehold (14 August 1875): Messrs Edward Herring and Allan Hick (with the consent of the Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation) to Messrs James Beachell and others (Trustees of the United Methodist Free Church at Goole). The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned parties, Edmund Parker Porter, and Marmaduke Storr Hodson on behalf of the Navigation.

10. Surrender of Leaseholds Nos. 108 and 126 (31 December 1894): William Colbridge and others (Trustees of the United Methodist Free Church at Goole) to Walter Thomas William Spencer Stanhope and others (Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation). The Deed has been signed and sealed by the following Church Trustees: William Colbridge, Thomas Huntington, Edmund Parker Porter, Thomas Monkhouse, Samuel Clayton, William Woodhead, Tom Huntington, and James Duckworth.
