A package containing papers surrendered to the Aire and Calder Navigation on 1 July 1907 by John Thomas Bentley. The papers are connected with Leasehold premises (Nos. 77 and 99) situate on the west side Bridge and Vermuyden Terrace in the town of Goole, Yorkshire. The package includes the following:

Deeds (1850–1907):
1. Lease No. 77 for 99 years (5 August 1850): the Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation to Richard Hodgson. It includes an inset plan showing the land and property in question. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the following representatives of the Navigation: Sir William Mordaunt Milner, John Spencer Stanhope, William Mordaunt Edward Milner, and John George Smyth.
2. Counterpart of Lease No. 77 for 99 years (5 August 1850): the Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation to Richard Hodgson. It includes an inset plan showing the land and property in question. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned Leasee.
3. Assignment of Leasehold No. 77 (10 January 1852): Richard Hodgson (with the consent of the Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation) to George Stewart. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned parties, and John Drinkrow Hall on behalf of the Navigation.
4. Lease No. 99 for 99 years (1 July 1854): the Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation to Luke Horton. It includes an inset plan showing the land and property in question. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned Leasee, and the following representatives of the Navigation: Sir William Mordaunt Milner, John Spencer Stanhope, John George Smyth, and William Mordaunt Edward Milner.
5. Counterpart of Lease No. 99 for 99 years (1 July 1854): the Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation to Luke Horton. It includes an inset plan showing the land and property in question. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned Leasee.
6. Mortgage of Leasehold (1 December 1856): Luke Horton (with the consent of the Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation) to John Clark. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned parties, and Marmaduke Storr Hodson on behalf of the Navigation.
7. Assignment of Leasehold (10 May 1881): George Stewart (with the consent of the Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation) to the Leeds and County Bank Limited. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned Leasee, and Marmaduke Storr Hodson on behalf of the Navigation. It also bears the seal of the aforementioned Bank.
8. Assignment of Leasehold (17 August 1882): the Leeds and County Bank Limited (with the consent of the Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation) to John Thomas Bentley. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned Mr Bentley, and Marmaduke Storr Hodson on behalf of the Navigation. It also bears the seal of the aforementioned Bank.
9. Assignment of Leasehold (1 October 1886): Robert Blair and others (with the consent of the Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation) to John Thomas Bentley. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned parties, and Marmaduke Storr Hodson on behalf of the Navigation.
10. Surrender of Leasehold (1 July 1907): John Thomas Bentley to the Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation. The Deed has been signed by the aforementioned Leasee, and Samuel Barraclough on behalf of the Navigation. It also bears the seal of the Trustees of the Navigation.
