A package containing papers surrendered to the Aire and Calder Navigation on 5 August 1919 by Frank Storr. The papers are connected with Leasehold premises (No. 3): the Blue Pig Public House and other property situate in George Street in the town of Goole, Yorkshire. The package includes the following:
Deeds (1828–1919):
1. Lease for 99 years (1 December 1828): the Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation to Thomas Thompson. It includes an inset plan showing the land and property in question. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned Leasee, and the following representatives of the Navigation: Sir John Lowther, Sir William Mordaunt Milner, and Richard Fountayne Wilson.
2. Lease for 99 years (31 December 1875): the Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation to Thomas Spilman. It includes a plan showing the land and property in question. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the following representatives of the Navigation: William Aldam, Walter Thomas William Spencer Stanhope, George Lane Fox, and Andrew Montagu.
3. Assignment of Leasehold (14 February 1908): Thomas Spilman to Randal Hopley. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned parties.
4. Assignment of Leasehold (22 March 1909): Randal Hopley to Sarah Ann Storr. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned parties.
5. Assignment of Leasehold (5 August 1919): Frank Storr, Personal representative of Sarah Ann Storr deceased, to the Trustees of the Aire and Calder Navigation. It includes a plan showing the land and property in question. The Deed has been signed and sealed by the aforementioned Mr Storr, and Samuel Barraclough on behalf of the Navigation. It also bears the seal of the Trustees of the Navigation.
