A memorandum of a meeting held 10 September 1890 at the LYR Offices at Manchester between representatives of the ACN and the LYR. The following topics are covered: proposed railway sidings on the west side of Bridge Street, Goole; proposed new railway lines on the east side of Bridge Street, Goole; coal shipping appliances; a proposed gate house and signal box; the general plan for the re-arrangement of the railway lines; the plan for a new quay at the northern side of the Railway Dock entrance; machinery for level crossings; the proposed removal of the old engine shed; proposal for a fifty ton crane; permanent way material; and labourers at Goole.
