Memoranda by Skipper. On April 22nd a dispute arose between the mate & the 3rd hand. The mate came to me & told me I had better take the ship home for he said he would work no more. I told him I would not take her home, but if he wanted to go , he could go in the cutter, and he said he would go in the ship. He has been carrying on his antics all the trip.
