23/11/93 about 6pm North Sea. John Hesketh, 4th Hand. Vessel shipped a heavy sea, and it is supposed that Hesketh who was on wtach alone, was washed overboard & drowned. The vessel remained in the vicinity for more than an hour but no trace of him could be found. He was not seen when overboard, it being very dark, but he was heard to cry out "Save me".
