22/6/95. We were making for Plymouth in a dense fog, going slow at the time. At 11pm I suddenly observed a dark mass ahead. I put the vessel full speed astern but before vessel answered she struck the land. After keeping engine full speed astern she came off in about 20 minutes, we then proceeded to Plymouth.
