26/2/95 North Sea. J Cartwright , boatswain. Whilst alongside the cutter Columbia, boarding fish in our boat, the smack Spy ran into the cutter smashing the boat between the 2 vessels and crushing the boatswain, causing, it is supposed, serious internal injury. He remained on board the columbia which conveyed him to London.
