Official Log.
On Monday morning October 3rd about 10.30 while proceeding homewards having got within 25 miles of the Humber I Came across a small boat rowing towards our steamer. I ascertained that the boat belonged to the Lowestoft herring luggerMignouette with one of her crew injured. The master of the lugger wished me to take the injured manto Hull, where he could receive medical treatment. I accordingly did so arriving the same afternoon, the injured man was conveyed to the Infirmary.
