Official Log.
John Leonard White came aboard for a pleasure trip ( at my invitation ) during the voyage he fell overboard. It is my opinion that he came on deck for the purpose of making water, and that in consequence of a sudden lurch of the ship he was pitched overboard. My opinion is that it was a pure accident. Signed William Jennings.
