Official Log. About 5 O'clock on December 24th 1901sighted schooner Wiln of Riga with masts gone & flying signals of distress. We took him in tow, but broke away from him six different times. On December 25th his crew refused duty, and the captain asked to be taken off which we did and abandoned the vessel. Landed them in Aberdeen, where we also reported the above.
