April 27th 1885 7am Horn Reef about 290 miles from Spurn the light vessel bearing 15 or 20 miles W. Collided with the smack Warwick of Hull. Light winds had our gear down the Warwick came up with his gear up . Ran into our starboard quarter doing us no damage but knocking some of his stanchions off.
