Left St Andrews Dock 10.30 am January 22nd in tow of Sea Gull tug all went well till 2.40pm when tug let go tow rope and while crew were hauling warp in vessel grounded wind SSE. Bull light vessel bearing E by S 3/4 mile immeadiately hoisted flag, tug came back tow vessel off made our way back to Hull vessel making no water. Arrived at Hull 8O'clock pm January 22nd. Dry docked vessel to survey bottom January 23rd. Bottom found all right.
