October 9th 1905 at sea. W Harker, mate. Found dead, caused from a wound in the head.
Certificates.
At York Assizes on November 29th J Carlill the trimmer was sentenced to death for the murder , whilst on the high seas of W Harker the 2nd hand. The sentence however was subsequently commuted to one of penal servitude for life.
