23/6/07 4am. Collision with the herring lugger Diligence of Peterhead causing her to sink immeadiately and doing slight damage to our starboard bow. We rescued her crew of 7 hands all told. Cause - Neglect of my 2nd hand who was in charge of the deck watch, but admits, having been temporarily absent from the bridge at the time of the occurence.
