22/2/08 River Humber. Collided with & sunk the middle lightship in River Humber. Her crew were saved. Damage to our bulwarks, top plates amidships & rail on starboard quarter. Error of judgement in not allowing sufficient distance for wind & tide, it was blowing a gale at the time.
