Official Log. April 1st sighted Russian ship Polmolunie [?] foremast, bowsprit and all sails carried away, crew begging to be taken off. Very strong gale & Heavy seas laid by them from 7am to 1pm weather moderated slightly. We at once launched the boat to fetch them off board, 4 men & 1 boy got them onboard about 2pm & then proceeded on our voyage home & landed the ship wreck crew at Norway.
