Record of Death or Injury.

April 24th 1910 Rasmus Johnson, fisherman. A lump of rust in the eye. In hauling the trawl a piece of rust flew from the fore gallows in his eye. I took him to a doctor in Tromsa who removed it. It is getting better.

June 19th 1910 N. Norway. Louis Rhodes, fisherman. Injury to chin, struck by iron hook.

Official Log. Friday July 9th 1910 10am. When fishing off the coast of Northern Europe 43 miles from land we were seized by the Russian warship Bakau & taken to Archangel where we were detained and released on July 17th 1910. The charge against us was illegal fishing.
