On August 3rd whilst the boatswain was pulling on a tackle it broke and he fell on an iron sheave hurting his side, he worked 2 days and complained saying he could hardly work I took him to the doctor in Patricks Fiord at Iceland and the doctor said one rib was broken so he rested the remainder of the voyage getting on staisfactorily.
