Memoranda by Skipper. January 23 Frederick Blanchard cook on board made attempt to strike me, the skipper. January 24th struck work for 10 hours. March 2 , stowed himself away when we found him he would not work for 44 hours. March 13 stowed himself away and would not work for 3 days.
