J Schultz 2nd Hand was sent home ill by cutter August 5 1886. R Lucas was sent out in his place arriving on board August 29 1886 the voyage was finished with two 3rd Hands in place of a 2nd & 3rd hand.
Record of Casualty.
16 March 1886 midnight 30 miles ENE of Spurn North Sea. Had our stern, onbe stancheon bowsprit & 15 ft of rail capping broken. Collision with the smack John Sevill of Grimsby owing to his trying to speak to us.
