Memoranda by Skipper. Saturday January 22nd 1887. Smack Victor and smack Abo with the rest of the fleet were boarding fish. Smack Victor came alongside breaking his bowsprit but doing no other damage. Tuesday January 25th 1887 some smack, name unknown caught our gear and before we could clear our gear he cut ours away. Supposed to be a Farmouth smack Wind SWW. Weather foggy.
