Smack Adelaide. Whilst at sea on October 2nd. Frank Godney the second hand took five cloths and went onboard of the cutter SS America for Hull not having signed off the log and against my orders. He went home having no care whatsoever as he was well in health and body, only complaining of the depression of trade he demanded to go home leaving me short handed.
