Fred Pearce the 2nd hand being hurt as reported on the 23rd April & afterwards Wader the cook having to come in through illness we got Jackson from the vessel Summer which was coming home, and he acted as third hand. We thus had 2 3rd hands on board but no 2nd hand. The Romeo was also coming home & so the master of that vessel sent his cook Walter Fell & brought Wader home.
