3 January 1891 North Sea. Name of person punished - Frederick Smolton / Smoulton 3rd hand by P Lee skipper. Threatening to take my life and to cut away gear.Sent forward with hands tied into hold. The incident is also documented by the skipper, in the Memoranda by Skipper section of the agreement found on page 10.

Frederick Smoulton 3rd hand. Having been discharged from this vessel at sea & sent home by cutter it is not my intention to take any further action relative to his conduct, as he expressed regret when being discharged for his previous bad behaviour. Hull 2/3/91.
