23 November 1890 5.30pm North Sea. John Shepherd skipper.Whilst shooting the fishing gear his leg or legs became entangled. He was carried overboard & drowned.
Memoranda by Skipper. Owing to Cramer 3rd hand being incompetent to do the work required of him his wages were reduced to 16/- per week from this date.December 4th 1890.
