- As Reverend Nicholas Walton resigned his post as Minister in the Parish of Sutton it was unclear whether another Minister could be appointed in his place as the original decree stated that another Trustee could be appointed on the detah of a Minister. In view of this, a case was put to Mr Russell who confirmed that this was so and that the case should be taken back to Chancery to alter the wording to accomodate resignation of a Minister.
