- Peter Lovell was awarded an M.B.E. in the New Years Honour List of 1980/81. He was managing director of Brekkes Ltd, the Hull fish merchants and President of the Hull Fish Trades Boxing Club. Included in these items is Mr. Lovell's M.B.E. and his citation certificate signed by Elizabeth R, an article (and a copy) on his award from the Hull Star and a booklet on 'Statutes of The Most Excellent Order of The British Empire'
