- Subseries contains minutes of Hull Literary Club General Meetings at which literary papers were presented by members, which papers were followed by discussions. Selected members were invited to give papers prior to these meetings and were required to submit summaries to the Secretary in advance. Papers were to be given on themes established by the president elected for the current session. Minutes relating to Ordinary Meetings held prior to 1979 do not form part of this collection but can be found in Hull University Archives collection U DCL.
