Subseries contains programmes relating to the 'Annual Smoking Concerts' held by the Hull Literary Club. Smoking Concerts were held during the early decades of the Club's existence and between 1909/10 and 1915/6 were the first event of the session. Concert programmes usually include songs, readings and recitals, piano solos, and toasts. Programmes relating to concerts held on the following dates are present: 23 Apr 1895; 13 Apr 1896; 6 May 1897; 15 May 1900; 30 Apr 1901; 1902/03; 18 Oct 1909; 16 Oct 1911; 22 Oct 1912; 20 Oct 1913.
