Contains the papers of Tony Hickson, Chairman and then President of the Hull Philharmonic Society Executive Committee. Hickson was elected Chairman on 11 Oct 1979, at which time he circulated a questionnaire to members of the society asking for advice and suggestions regarding the future of the society, changes required, and potential ways of improving the position and relationship between the Executive and Orchestra. He became President of the Society in 1988.
