Orchestra conducted by Terence Lovett, Lawrence Leonard and Charles Groves as guest conductors; Lawrence Leonard engaged to conduct all concerts in the coming season; Each concert in the coming season to contain one work by a modern British composer so as introduce new works; Orchestra concert given at H.M. Borstall Institution at Everthorpe and at Hull Prison; Ladies Committee sponsoring a formal detailed prospectus for the coming season; Application for increaased grant from Hull Corporation made and is under consideration; £68 raised by the 'Christmas Draw'; Ladies Committee donations 'are a vital part of our income'; Voluntary proposal from Orchestra members that their subscription be increased passed at a special meeting; Thanks to Honorary Auditors Messrs Fawley Judge & Easton; Thanks to Mr Heald-Smith for efforts as Muscial Director.
