Season programme prepared by Mr Lovett, Conductor, and Mr Beagle, Musical Director; Negotiation of increased rates for professional musicians by Musicians' Union; Financial gaurantee received from Arts Council and offered again for coming season; Considerable increase in ticket sales last season; Viennese Evening; Next season's programmes to include Tchaikovsky, Sibelius and a Sir Henry Wood Memorial Concert; Sir Henry Wood being Society's conductor before the war; Next season's artisits to be Moura Lympany, Peter Katin and Erich Gruenberg; Resignation of Mr G.J. Russell of Gough & Davy from Committee; Messrs Fawley Judge & Easton as Honorary Auditors.
