Alec Smith as Lord Mayor of Hull; Society having provided music at the new Lord Mayor's service in Holy Trinity Church; Unpredictability of public taste; Increase in ticket prices; Viennese Concert held at the Cecil Cinema; Bi-Centenary of Beethoven's birth in coming season; First performance of Beethoven's Choral Symphony by the Orchestra and in Hull; Marlene Fleet and Daniel Pollack to be soloists in coming season; Messrs Fawley Judge & Easton as Honorary Auditors.
