Maritime Sunday was held on 13 Jul 1986 at Victoria Pier, Hull. The event coincided with the National Seafarer's Sunday and included an ecumenical service led by the Rev. C.W. Chetwynd (Sailor's Children's Society). Like the Edwardian Sunday and Carnival Sunday, Maritime Sunday was organised by voluntary organisations and Hull City Council.
