Copy of a photograph of the premises of George Lodge and Sons Ltd., west side of Walker Street near the junction with Hessle Road which suffered a direct hit during a Zeppelin Raid on Hull on 5-6 Mar 1916. George Lodge and Sons Ltd., were machinery merchants and the firm still survives today with premises on English Street in Hull, although the Lodge family are no longer connected with the business. George Lodge died in 1933.
