Description:

Includes correspondence relating to the requested demobilisation of 1st AM H. Beaumont in order that he could return to his occupation of Manual Instructor. His request was subsequently refused as he was deemed to be engaged on important military work.

Also includes correspondence relating to the requested demobilisation of Gunner H Cook in order that he could return to his occupation of school teacher. The Board of Education advised the Local Education Authority in Hull that this was a matter entirely for the Military Authorities.

Plus requested release from military service of the following teachers: Cpl. M. Godfrey and Private J.F. Holmes.
