Description:

Gives details of the vessels bringing the lead into Hull and of those taking it away under agency agreements. They show how the lead sent by owners in the ticket books was dealt with. There is a double page for each and are arranged chronologically. The first page shows the lead sent according to the ticket book and gives the date, vessel and masters name and the number of pigs (ordinary lead), pieces (small lead) and firkins (red lead). The other page shows how the lead was dealt with and gives the date, the purchaser's name (in the case of sales) or the name of the vessel and master (if shipped) and the number of pigs, pieces and firkins bearing each mark.

At the end are chronological accounts of the lead of various owners shipped at Stockwith and by passing Hull. There is a separate page for each owner and gives the date, the name of the vessel and master and the number of pigs, pieces and firkins bearing each mark
